The law provides exhaustively in which cases the NO is cancelled:
With the passage of time, if the NO was established for a limited period.

A non-profit organization ceases to exist on the day the NO was deleted from the list of non-profit organizations. The legislator allows dissolution with or without liquidation.
Liquidation is not required if no merges or merges with another entity, i.e. liabilities are transferred to the legal successor of NO. The provisions of the Commercial Code in the section describing the cancellation and liquidation of commercial companies shall apply to the dissolution.
If the liquidation takes place, the liquidator is obliged by law to offer the liquidation balance to another non-profit organization or foundation.

Entry into liquidation
As entry into liquidation, which is also carried out in the case of non-profit organizations providing public benefit services, non-investment funds and interest associations of legal entities (hereinafter also "NO, NF, ZZPO") in accordance with the Commercial Code, is not yet a step in which the very deletion of the non-profit organization from the register of non-governmental non-profit organizations (hereinafter referred to as the "register of MNO and ZZPO").

1. Step
The attachments that must be attached to the request to change data in the MNO and ZZPO register, which occurs when the NO, NF, ZZPO enters liquidation, are the original documents:
Minutes from the meeting of the administrative board of NO, NF, ZZPO at which its members approved the cancellation with liquidation, the change of name of NO, NF, ZZPO with the addition "in liquidation" and the person of the liquidator, indicating his name, surname, date of birth and address of permanent residence (including inventory number for the street of permanent residence and the city district) with the issued decision of the administrative board on cancellation with liquidation;
Attendance list, or a list of those present with signatures from the given meeting of the board of directors;
Consent of the liquidator to the appointment and signature model of the liquidator;
2x statute, statutes of NO, NF, ZZPO with a changed name (also in the relevant article, which refers to the name), or 2x amendment to the statute, statutes of NO, NF, ZZPO;
Administrative fee (stamp) in the amount of €25 .
We do not require the payment of an advance payment for the liquidator's remuneration and expenses (€1,500) to a notary's escrow in the case of liquidation, but also of PO interest associations providing generally beneficial services.
After the decision to change the relevant data in the MNO register by the Bratislava District Office, the Department of General Internal Administration and the acquisition of legal validity of this decision,
the liquidator will publish a call in the Commercial Gazette for creditors of the association and other persons and bodies affected by this to register their claims or other rights (according to the Commercial Code).
2. Step
Only subsequently after the end of the liquidation, but no earlier than 6 months after the announcement of the entry of the NO into the liquidation, the liquidator will send a request for deletion from the register of the MNO, ZZPO to the Bratislava District Office, Department of General Internal Administration.
The attachments to the request for deletion from the MNO, ZZPO register are:
final report on the liquidation progress
final financial statement
proof that the liquidator has published the entry of NO, NF, ZZPO into liquidation with a call for the creditors of NO, NF, ZZPO and other persons and bodies affected by this to register their claims, or other rights within a period that must not be shorter like 6 months
a document from the relevant tax office that NO, NF, ZZPO has no tax arrears
in the event that the NO, NF, ZZPO had employees, submit a document from the social insurance company that there are no arrears in this institution
confirmation from the banking institution about the cancellation of the account
notification of the place of archiving of all documents related to the marked NO, NF, ZZPO
after deducting the costs associated with the liquidation, in the case of a liquidation balance, it is necessary to submit the method of disposal of the liquidation balance in accordance with the statute (confirmation from a banking institution on the transfer of the liquidation balance to the account of an authorized legal entity)
administrative fee /college/ in the amount of €33.
affidavit stating that NO, NF, ZZPO disposed of stamps, if any; if she did not have stamps, an affidavit stating that she did not have NO, NF, ZZPO stamps
